OCIO TSC Meeting Notes

  • Review pending pull requests one by one to prepare 2.1 and 2.0.2:
    • Summary: Group reviewed each open PR and discussed remaining work needed for OCIO 2.1.0 and 2.0.2 releases. Goal is to get PRs merged by Thursday or Friday of this week to provide time to prepare the 2.1.0 release, which must go out by next Tuesday at the latest to be considered for VFX ref platform 2022. The 2.0.2 release will follow days after.
      • TODO: Rémi will work with Michael to setup PyPI project and update #1401
      • TODO: Michael will finalize PRs #1464, #1432, and #1371
      • TODO: Patrick will finalize Adsk PRs and prep releases
      • TODO: Doug will follow up with OCIO community in Slack with info about PR #1462
        • Main reason for getting this PR in for 2.1.0 is that API will lock after 2.1.0 until VFX ref platform 2023. Change has some risk, but only adds a single enum value to the public API. OSL feature is considered beta and will be refined in 2.1.x patch releases prior to 2022. Will require approval to merge in time for 2.1.0 release.
