OCIO TSC Meeting Notes

  • GPU Performance Issue:
    • Doug: How are things going with the performance issue we discussed last time?
    • Mark: We've made some progress using the cache approach.
    • Group agreed that this is a good area for future development.
  • ICC Transfer Function feature:
    • Remi: I've been working on issue #1623.  Will use the LUT-based approach.  Am using ICCMax to test the implementation.
  • Nuke Nodes:
    • Remi: Is there still a limit on four context variable slots?  Mark: Yes.
    • Mark: We've been updating the code for these.  Ideally we will push them back to the OCIO repo at some point.
  • OpenEXR Dependency Issue #1637
    • Mark: Where does this issue stand?
    • Remi: I need another reviewer before I'm able to merge it.
    • Doug: I will ping people.  I feel badly that it has taken so long to get this approved.
  • Archive Feature #1627
    • Doug: We are working on this feature.  Hopefully have a PR next week.
    • Doug: I wrote some additional unit tests and found an issue involving using context variables to choose multiple CDLs from a single CCC file.  Will try to make a PR to fix that this week.
